Message Thirty years ago (14.8.69) I left Brockenhurst to move to Australia with my parents. I
lived at Blackhamsley House in the middle of the golf course at Brockenhurst. We had lived there
for 7 years. Thanks to the power of the internet, I have been able to visit this site of my old
local area. Is the house still standing in the golf course? I haven't been able to find a mention
of it. I would love to hear from anyone who has lived in this house or visited the area. One of my
favourite pastimes was to cycle to the village and ride through the watersplash. I was ten. Do
kids still do that?

Message Great to see the place is still buzzing. I lived at Foxlease from 88-94 where my mother was the cook. Nice to see the Scouts are still strong. I see no mention of the Boltons Bench Inn where I worked for three years. Does it still exist??

ed- No, The Enchanted cottage tea-rooms that became The Boltons Bench Inn, is now Il Palio, an Italian resturaunt.
